President Pakistan Businessmen and Intellectuals Forum (PBIF), President All Karachi Industrial Alliance (AKIA), Senior Vice Chairman of the Businessmen Panel of FPCCI and former Provincial Minister Mian Zahid Hussain on Wednesday said Business Community condemns Indian threats terming it highly provocative.

Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan were already involved in some issues that resulted in tensions while New Delhi has tried to take advantage of the situation, he said.

Mian Zahid Hussain said that tensions will benefit no one while threats will not demoralise Pakistani people or armed forces which are one of the best in the world.

The Former Minister said that Pakistan is a strong country with best Army having nuclear weapons therefore it cannot be harassed by a group of states.

Threatening statements by neighbouring countries can not only jeopardise relations but also hurt trade for which all the countries of the region have tried hard, he warned.

The Veteran Business Leader said that it is responsibility of the opposition to unite nation at this critical juncture and reduce political tensions in the national interest as India is leaving no stone unturned to damage Pakistan.

Iranian Government should thoroughly probe incidents before blaming other countries for it otherwise it will endanger growing ties, he said.

PBIF Chief said that three Islamic states should not confront each other while OIC should play its role to diffuse tensions between Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan.May 10, 2017 UrduMay 10, 2017 EnglishPakistan ObserverBusiness RecorderSabha NewsJasaratNawa-e-waqtNai BaatAusaf92 NewsBasharat
