President Pakistan Businessmen and Intellectuals Forum (PBIF), President AKIA, Senior Vice Chairman of the Businessmen Panel of FPCCI and former provincial minister Mian Zahid Hussain on Friday lauded Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for raising the Kashmir issue in a well-balanced speech at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

The speech covered all the important national and international issues concerning Pakistan, while it highlighted the Indian atrocities in the held Kashmir, he said.

Mian Zahid Hussain said that the Prime Minister had presented Pakistan’s stance on all issues of national importance in a courageous way which was according to the expectations of the nation.

He said that PM told world leaders that Pakistan is a peace loving country which did not want confrontation with any country and that it is for the first time in the history of the country that an elected Prime Minister pleaded Kashmiri’s case for their right to self-determination in such a strong way.

Mian Zahid Hussain said that Indian prime minister and policy makers know that war with Pakistan would be a very costly affair which will destroy both countries while damaging dozens of economies and billions of people.

Pakistan has faced heavy losses in the war against terror but it has not weakened the resolve of masses and security forces and we have enough skills to show real face of India to the world, he said.

Pakistan can counter unholy designs of India is a very effective way while keeping its developmental agenda intact, he added.

The veteran business leader said that India should stop dreaming of derailing our developmental agenda, fail CPEC and undermine war against terror.

Kashmir remains the unfinished agenda of 1947’s partition and without its resolution peace and prosperity cannot prevail in the region, he said.
