Tributes paid to SM Muneer. The business community has lost a gem.

Chairman of National Business Group Pakistan, President Pakistan Businessmen and Intellectuals Forum, and All Karachi Industrial Alliance, and former provincial minister Mian Zahid Hussain on Wednesday paid glowing tributes to SM Muneer who breathed his last the other day.

Mr. Muneer was a great business leader, he remained Parton-in-Chief of many trade associations including United Business Group (UBG) and Karachi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI), he was the former CEO of TDAP and a philanthropist who commanded great respect in business and social circles across the country, he said.

Mian Zahid Hussain said that SM Muneer was born on 17 April 1945, he received many medals from the government, and his absence will be felt for decades but he will remain in heart of millions of people as the business community has lost an asset that was a remarkable example of service to mankind.

Talking to the business community, the veteran business leader said that SM Muneer was a “true gentleman” and a very successful businessman who improved the image of the country abroad through his best practices.

The majority of the businessmen always welcomed his views and guidance as well as his optimism and commitment to improving the business environment.

He was considered a true friend by businessmen across Pakistan, he was always supportive of young entrepreneurs, businesswomen, and anyone who contacted him for support.

With his generous donations and contributions to community initiatives and social activities, he became popular in Pakistan and other countries.

Mian Zahid Hussain said that he was the most generous and helpful person I know, always making time for everyone. He made many lives happier.

He prayed for the mercy of Allah for the deceased and patience for his family members so that they can bear the loss.
